Directory of Assessment Standards search help

All the unit standards and national qualifications currently registered on the Directory of Assessment Standards may be accessed from this site.

The following information provide explanation of the information you will find when searching or exploring the Framework.

Navigation

When you search the Directory of Assessment Standards you can see the path that you have taken at the top of the page. For example:

TOP / HEALTH / Pharmacy / PHARMACY SERVICES

You can move back by clicking on the part of the pathway to which you wish to return. The TOP button will return you to the top level of the Browse Directory of Assessment Standards.

View providers, AMAP & purpose

This heading enables you to access version information as well as the purpose statement, Accreditation and Moderation Action Plans, accredited providers and the standard-setting body responsible for that unit standard.

Multifield qualifications

These qualifications are not identified with any particular field or subfield.

Symbols

The hook indicates that the unit standard or national qualification has Māori content. The hook will appear beside a field, subfield or domain only if they contain registered unit standards with Māori content.

The Word icon indicates a file in Microsoft® Word format. This format is best used if you wish to copy and paste information into other documents and is not intended to reproduce the original document formatting and layout. In particular, Māori macrons are not supported with this format.

The PDF icon indicates a file in Adobe Acrobat® format. This format is best for viewing and printing qualifications, unit standards and moderation action plans as it preserves layout features. However, it is not designed for copying information into other applications.

Version numbers

Each unit standard and qualifications document has a version number. The version number can be found in the header at the top of each document.

For unit standards in any domain you can also click on the 'View providers, AMAP & purpose' heading across from the heading 'unit standards'. This will enable you to access version information as well as the purpose statement, accreditation and moderation action plans, accredited providers and the standard-setting body responsible for that unit standard.

Reference numbers (IDs)

Unit standards, Accreditation and Moderation Action Plans (AMAPs), and qualifications each have a unique reference number (ID). The ID is in the header of each unit standard document, and in the footer of each AMAP and qualification document.
