Overview

Institutes of technology and polytechnics (ITPs) are government owned tertiary education organisations.

From 1 January 2011, NZQA is responsible for quality assurance services to ITPs in New Zealand. This change is a result of an agreement reached between ITP New Zealand Inc and NZQA.

This service was previously provided by Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics Quality (ITP Quality).

All ITPs and other interested organisations have been informed of the changes, and  all appropriate information, previously held on ITP Quality website is now located on the NZQA website.
